Our Community Partnerships

Our initiatives support educational, social, and conservation impacts that directly help our communities.

Activating a region in which food systems promote social, environmental, and economic resilience.

Carolina Farm Trust works to bring fresh, bountiful, locally-grown food to your plate. Our approach is comprehensive and collaborative. We work alongside our partners, farmers and growers, farms, markets, and consumers as we strive to make our region a global leader in local food production and consumption.

Saving the Slow Loris species through ecology, education, and empowerment .

Java, Indonesia. The Little Fireface Project (LFP), is headed by Professor Anna Nekaris. The LFP mission is to obtain vital data about all loris species to contribute to their conservation in the wild and in captivity, including aiding rescue centres in reintroductions and aiding in the welfare of slow loris pets in countries where it is still legal to keep them.

Our current main field project is on the Indonesian island of Java, where we have initiated the first-ever long-term study of a lorisiform primate in the wild – the Javan slow loris.
